Zombies Vs. Unicorns!

Photobucket
It's Zombies Vs. Unicorns MONTH over at vv32Reads and in a surprising turn of events (considering my love of horror,) I have decided to go Team Unicorn. Yes, yes, I have a fondness for zombie movies and I can't wait for The Walking Dead premiere, but I had to ask myself this question...what would I rather walk out the door and find in my backyard??? Um, yeah. Unicorns.

There are a ton of awesome giveaways planned for the month, and anyone who comments on MY post here is eligible for prizes as well! So be sure and let me know if you're Team Unicorn or Team Zombie and be sure to click the pic and head on over and sign up. Her contests are a BLAST and I guarantee you will have fun!

Vampires and tofu AND unicorns?!! *gasp*

The zombies feel so slighted! ;)

I suppose that is a valid question to ask - I, for one, sometimes have the paranoia that a zombie might be waiting for me when I open the door to the garage in the morning. Weird, I know, but obviously one too many zombie movies...

Happy recruiting for the dark side!

Way better to meet a unicorn than a zombie!

Zombies, of course!
:)

I don't know...have you seen some of the 'new' breed of romance Zombies? Zoe Archer makes me want a Zombie lover of my own (meanwhile Diana Peterfreund has me running to the hills if I see a unicorn. I don't fancy being eviscerated just 'cause I'm not 'pure'...)

Woo hoo!

Yes, I would think this is a departure for you, but I understand your reason. I think I would still prefer to see a zombie, because then I can test my mettle on how I'd handle the situation.

I'd rather meet a zombie: there's a challenge in that. A unicorn goes down as soon as you kick it's delicate ankle.

Haha...I'm loving all your comments, and I see there are some books I need to check out, but I'm sticking with unicorns lol. While I love zombie stories and movies, I'm never on their side...they must be destroyed! And I'm still not convinced zombies have much going on in the romance department. I don't mind losing a little blood to the right vampire, but I'm not willing to part with my braaiiins!!!!!

I am team Switzerland on this one. LOL. I would much rather walk out my front door and see unicorns also. But I think it would be pretty cool to be in the Zombieland movie.

Thanks for this awesome post.

(sorrowfully shakes head) TELL me it isn't true?! Tell me you didn't DEFLECT to the ... sigh ... other side?

Well, I'm a *die-hard* Team Zombie member here. See, the reason is this:
I'm getting old. All my crucial body parts having dropped by about 4 inches. Basically, I'm falling apart.

So... I like to roll with the rotting dead, because at least I still look better than THEY do ;D

LMAO @ Mary Ann...oh, you are too funny. I'm right there with you and you ALMOST convinced me!

Huh, that's an interesting method for choosing sides. I, however, chose the side would win in a battle royale.
Team Zombie! (I'm starting to feel like a frat boy, shouting about my team like this.)

I'm so torn. I like zombies, but I have a unicorn tattooed on my back. Gah!

I am pretty in the same boat... I love zombies, but in all honesty, I would rather deal with a unicorn then a real live zombie - totally TEAM UNICORN!

I found it a bit a shcok that you were Team Unicorn seeing how much you love vampires and all. I enjoy vampires too, so reading zombies was an obvious choice, but I guess you must've followed the sparkle? ;)
Although, I must admit, I don't really have anything against Team Unicorn. Y'all do have the prettiest mascot this side of valhalla.

You know, in all honesty I would probably have been Team Zombie but I read an AWFUL zombie book right before this and was so (temporarily) turned off I HAD to go Team Unicorn...
