Vampires and Tofu
My vampire fever started way back before I was born 29...OKAY...41 years ago when my momma watched a lil show called Dark Shadows which featured vampires and castles and gothic awesomeness. Anyway, momma decided to name me Angelique, after one of the characters on the show. And vampires have been in my...er, blood...ever since =) And oh yeah, I'm also a vegetarian. Now how would that work out if I got turned??? Email me at willowwind@gmail.com

Mermaid's Cove Music Hop: Part of Random Magic Tour: Pirates!

Tuesday, May 10, 2011

Mermaid's Cove Music Hop

Ahoy, me darlin', ye've found a jolly round of songs for swashbucklers.

Music is a strong theme in Random Magic -- so strong, in fact, that one of the
celestial characters Winnie and Henry meet is Efterpe , the Muse of music.

So, for the love of music (and pirates), here’s a fun music hop to
check out, featuring all kinds of delicious tunes piratical.

Start anywhere you like -- for each blog stop, you’ll be able to enjoy
a merry tune, then just sail off to the next port for another round.
Hoist the mizzen and away we go!

You are here: #10 of 11: Vampires and Tofu

Dead Men Tell No Tales – Nox Arcana
Songs for: Ominous pirates

Other tales tell of sea monsters and sirens
Sunken cities and ancient maps

that lead to uncharted islands…
But these are merely stories
and the truth may never be told
For such secrets are known

only to the phantoms of the high seas
And dead men tell no tales

Random Magic quote of the piratey persuasion:

Suddenly, everything she saw seemed to go black. Her hands shook
with rage. 'Henry!' she called, then caught her breath. He was
standing up. He stumbled over to her, then sank down on deck, holding
his side.
'Gi’ us another round! yelled the crew.
'Aye, lemme have another go,' Cueball said, rolling up his sleeves.
'Keep yer bleedin' pitchfork, Pat-me-lad. Gi' us yer blade, Mary, I'll

cut 'er throat meself.'
Winnie frowned blackly. She’d had enough of this.
'Right,' she said. 'That’s it.'
